We're proud to announce that our award winning dashboard design for RAMMP has been recognised as a winner in the Digital Interface category for this year's 2023 Good Design Awards. RAMMP is an intuitive customer experience platform that cracks the code for how to turn ordinary websites into powerful conversion machines.

This award acknowledges our passion and commitment to high-quality digital product design that produces meaningful outcomes for our clients and their customers.

The Challenge: Making complex marketing technology simple and intuitive.

The design challenge RAMMP set us was huge. There are many complex marketing technologies in the world, and not one of them gives instant insights to a CEO or CMO about what is most worth doing next. Our mandate was to deliver a simple, user-friendly dashboard design and visualisation for scores at each of the six ADORE milestones and an overall total. The dashboard must be self-evident, provide insights over time, and executive-level monthly reporting in one PDF download.

The main impact of the project is that RAMMP’s customers find the product so easy to use that RAMMP feels justified in calling it “the most intuitive CX platform on the planet”.

Our Dashboard Design Approach: Create, iterate, and iterate again.

Our design process was up to this challenge. Symplicit and Rammp started with a workshop to align the project goals. Creating early-stage concept designs, including simple sketches, ensured we got feedback early. We moved to mid-fidelity digital prototypes to communicate the concepts more richly. We tested the mid-fi prototypes with users and used their feedback to create the final high-fidelity designs. The high-fi prototypes included recommendations for development and feature prioritisation.

Design Impact: ‘The most intuitive CX platform on the planet’.

The main impact of the project is that RAMMP’s customers find the product so easy to use that RAMMP feels justified in calling it “the most intuitive CX platform on the planet”. (That’s really what a RAMMP customer said!)

Successful websites build a relationship with their audience, but most businesses don’t know how to measure the quality of their audience’s relationship with their brand. Access to this knowledge typically needed multi-million-dollar marketing budgets with large agencies that assign a team of designers and data scientists to find answers. The simplicity of RAMMP’s design has shifted the power dynamics by giving any business access to this type of strategic insight. The effect of RAMMP’s simple dashboards is that business owners have been able to improve ROI on their marketing spending, gain confidence in knowing what to do next, and, through that process, improve conversion rates by 10-40%.

RAMMP turns a snapshot of a business’s marketing metrics into six key moments. The RAMMP dashboard visualises those moments and how well the metrics are doing and shows how to improve each moment. Over time, the RAMMP dashboard helps businesses see how changes affect their metrics. Our dashboard design and the power of RAMMP put massive marketing power in the hands of any business.
